Students will learn about herbs that grow locally, and what some of their uses are. We will especially focus on creating artwork with herbs, a process known as herbal crafting. Some crafts will include making plant dye, inks, and paint, as well as creating flower crowns and healing salves.

Explore creativity with the endless possibilities of clay through traditional handbuilding techniques and wheel-throwing! This class is perfect for beginner potters with little or no previous ceramics experience. Students are guided step by step through each project and are always free to tailor their work to their creative vision. Prepare for fun and messiness!
Artwork from this class will be featured in the iCreate Show in June.

Participants will study one herb each week - six herbs in total. We'll practice how to create herbal remedies, recipes, and artwork. Each participant will create a collection of what they've learned throughout our studies, known as a Materia Medica or an Herbiary.

If you like eating and sipping on cocktails, why not learn how to do the two? Join this six-week, adults-only cooking and cocktails class. Each week you will learn how to prepare a new culinary dish and complimentary cocktail. Must be 21 years old. Tuition now includes all food and supply fees.
