This ballet class will let your little dancer enhance the development of fine and gross motor skills while incorporating basic ballet terminology with the basic positions of the feet, hands, and body. At the barre, students are now strong enough to execute exercises holding onto the barre with only one hand. Elementary exercises of classical ballet training are taught to emphasize posture and flexibility. When the students leave the barre to dance in the center floor portion of the class, they will be using all of their previous experience to begin putting combination steps together.
