We will learn songs together and cover basic music literacy, choral singing technique, and music and movement through singing, dancing, and games. Register SONGWRITING CAMP SONGWRITING CAMP - BRANNON HANCOCK July 14-July 17 4:00-6:00pm Ages 12+ $66 one-time payment If you’ve ever thought about writing your own original songs, or have dabbled in songwriting but want to learn more, this class is for you! Come explore the creative process of composing melodies and lyrics that express your own unique ideas and emotions, and build your confidence in a collaborative, supportive, hands-on environment. The class covers lyrics and melody, song structures, chord progressions, rhyme schemes, and creativity-generating exercises. Students will be encouraged to write on their on and with classmates, and be given the opportunity to record a demo of their song(s) to showcase their work.
