If your student musician is ready to ROCK, join Christian Nesmith and Circe Link this summer for UHS Band Camp. With an emphasis on beginner music theory and the art of live performance, students will learn and perform two cover songs on their chosen instrument. Additionally, while students are working one on one with Christian and their instrument, others will be engaging in Rock History
discussions, jam sessions, and stage presence. Overall, this camp will strengthen music skills, build confidence, and allow their inner rockstar to shine during the end of week mini concert. Bring your lunch and an instrument if you want to rock!
There is $100 deposit at registration. The balance is due on June 1st.

This fun camp includes a Dungeon Master led one-week campaign. The kids will develop characters, negotiate adventures, and roll the dice to see if they win or lose. It’ll be a great time to develop story telling skills and learn some interpersonal (inter creature?) negotiating tactics! If your camper enrolls in any other UHS camp you receive 25% off. Deposit is $50.

Are you ready to be a world leader?
With UHSMUN Boot Camp, you can hone your public speaking, debating, and teamwork skills to make a real difference in the world.
Our MUN program introduces young people to the field of international affairs. Students step into the role of ambassadors as they simulate the actual United Nations in debate and negotiation, all in an effort to address a variety of important issues facing the world today. Think of it as cosplay for ambassadors!
Delegates will learn how to:
Research
Write position papers
Write resolutions
Write and deliver speeches
Negotiate
Use the rules of procedure for Model UN
At the end of the week students will participate in a MUN simulation and use the skills they learned all week.
Whether you are new to MUN or you have participated in MUN before, the UHSMUN boot camp is for delegates of all skill levels.
