In this fun, challenging class, young dancers learn the basics of Hip Hop and Urban dance through a focus on expression, community, and groove. In addition to learning essential aspects of dance such as freestyle, class etiquette, and choreography pick up/retention, dancers will also explore coordination, balance, energy, and spatial awareness which will translate to any style of dance.

In this high-energy technique & performance class, young dancers will expand the Hip Hop technique, while gaining confidence and performance skills necessary for participation in a performance company. The class will perform in EDC's Fall Showcase 11/24/2024 and our end of the season concert. Includes EDC Company Shirt.
Prerequisite: At least two FULL YEARS of Hip Hop and Placement by teacher permission. For more information, please call the studio prior to registering.
