Templates saves you time by remembering your search criteria and field settings for you as a named set. You can build one or more Templates of your standard tuition posting search critieria and discounting settings and save yourself time and maintain consistency of your posting criteria and settings. You can create a Template for any combination of fields such as for each Location and Cat1 or for a unique set of classes, etc. A template can be "Public" and shared with others or Private and only visible under your User ID. There are 3 new buttons in the upper-right corner highlighted in yellow. Select "Templates" to view and select an existing Template, and choose "Save" to create a new or update an existing template. The "Clear" button clears the form as if you just loaded it. Click the "?" Help Icon for more information.
501/23/12Portal Enhancement - Register to Wait ListIf you have the setting "Allow Waitlist When Class Full" set to "Yes", you can now allow PORTAL users to register into the Class Wait List when the class is full and Wait List spots are available. When searching classes from the portal "Registration" tab, any FULL classes with Wait List spots available will appear but it will show "Wait List" instead of number of spots remaining. Also, the Portal confirmation will include "added to Wait List". For Class Listings on your website that come through the Registration form, if the parent is led into your Portal as an existing customer, the Portal will guide them towards registering to the class Wait List. If you do not want this feature, you can set the "Allow Waitlist When Class Full" to "No".
601/21/12Web Reg Enhancement - Register to Wait List within Registration FormFollowing the recent enhancement on Dec 5 to Class Listings (on your website) allowing users to Register into the class Wait List when the class is full, this same functionality is now available directly in your Registration Form. If you have the setting "Allow Waitlist When Class Full" set to "Yes" and the parent clicks "Search Classes", any FULL classes with Wait List spots available will appear but it will show "Wait List" instead of number of spots remaining. Also, the Registration confirmation will print "Wait Listed" next to the class(es) they have selected. Soon to follow this, we will add this functionality into the Portal so existing customers can register into a Wait List for a Class that is full. If you do not wish to open this functionality to the public, set the "Allow Waitlist When Class Full" to "No".

801/11/12Attendance Rpt - UpdatedFor Attendance trackers (not Absence trackers), we have added several output columns to the Attendance Report: Student Active (Yes/No), Enroll Date, Class Status, Class Start Date. This gives you more detail when viewing attendance data as to what the current status is, how long the student has been enrolled, etc. Also, by default this report used to pull ALL attendance history which could include years of old attendance history. Now, the report defaults to pulling attendance activity for Active Classes and Active (Currently Enrolled) Students. But you can still clear this criteria and pull all history if you want.
901/10/12Class Rolls - Makeups prints the Absence NoteWhen printing Class Rolls and tracking Absences and Makeups, the Makeup Class prints at the bottom of the Class Roll. If the related Absence for this Makeup had a Note(Reason), this Note will now appear on the Makeup Class Roll followed by the Student Roll Notes (Student page Misc tab).

1112/09/11Search User Activity at Org levelUnder Tools, Manage User Pemissions, you can now choose Search User Activity from the left menu. This allows you to search user activity by date, user, event and description. This new functionality is open to all users that have the "Manage Users" permission.

1312/05/11Register into Class Wait List from Class Listings table on your websiteAs the first part of a multi-part enhancement, we have added the abilty for customers to Wait List a Student from the Class Listings table when the Class is Full. In Web Registration-Settings under "Listing Settings", you can set the new "Allow Waitlist When Class Full" setting to "Yes" to allow a "Wait List" link to appear in place of the "Register" link when the class is FULL and there is room on the Class Wait List. When you click the "Wait List" link, you will land on the (Web) Registration page where the class is pre-selected but will also have the text "(Wait List)" next to the class name. Once the registration form is completed and submitted, that student is added to the wait list for that class. The standard registration emails (confirmation to parent/contact and alert to school) will indicate the Wait List registration. The default setting for this is "No" (off). Coming soon: allowing wait listing from the Portal and from Web Reg (without Class Listings).
1412/05/11Web Registration: Future Enrollments can affect Class OpeningsIn Web Registration Settings there is now a setting to allow Future Enrollments to affect the openings for a class. If the new "Should Future Enrollments affect Openings" setting in Web Registration Settings is set to "Yes" (and "Allow Future Enrollments" is set to "Yes" in "Tools"-"Edit Settings") then the number of available openings for the class in the class listings page will be decreased by the number of future enrollments.

1611/29/11Student Listing becoming Students Adv. SearchThe Student Listing Rpt is being slowly transitioned/renamed as a "Students Advanced Search" under the Students menu. For a period of 30-60 days, the report will exist in both places to give users time to adjust to the new menu location. After this period, we will eventually remove the "Student Listing" and direct you to "Students Advanced Search". The User permissions are being preserved (remains the same).

You no longer need to click the "Add Skill" button repeatedly for a single student. All skills added at the same time will have the same "Date Started", etc. But you can always edit the dates afterwards in the Skills grid. And as previous, if these skills have sub-skills, they are also added for you.

3111/04/11Post Tuition Fees - UpdatedA new option has been added to skip students that are dropping prior to a future Posting date. The Tuition Posting Date defaults to today\'s date, but often many schools and organizations will post tuition fees now and enter a future posting date (ex. next Monday). This feature allows you to set future drop dates and post tuition several days in advance, and exclude students dropping the class prior to the posting date. This new option is currently defaulted to "post fees for future drops" as a precaution, working as it has prior to this new setting - posting tuition based on current enrollment regardless of future drops. This is the first part of a two-part enhancement when posting tuition with a future date: 1) exclude future drops prior to; and 2) include future enrollments occurring prior to - the future posting date.

7408/11/11Email Staff/Instructors - EnhancedThe "Email Staff" function (formerly know as "Email Instructors") has been updated\! You now have the ability to: 1) select individual Staff/Instructors; 2) Email All Instructors assigned to Active Classes at a single Location; 3) Email Instructors assigned to Classes matching Category1-3 criteria (ex. Email all "Ballet" Instructors, or Instructors of classes where Cat3=Wed).

Remember that emails are always sent individually so the each recipient gets a single, direct email without getting the full list of all emails in the list (for privacy protection). The "Sender" (usually the Reply To) does however get the list of recipient emails along with a copy of the email.
7508/09/11NEW - Staff Advanced Search-ReportUnder the "Staff" menu, there is a new search-report called "Staff Adv. Search". Like the "Class Adv. Search", this new search-report gives you more searching power and includes the new ability to see/export the Staff Addresses. This Search-Report is controlled by the same User permission as "List Instructors".

The amount that is posted to the family/account will also appear in the confirmation email that goes out. This also works for internally booked events as well.
